Orange Bedroom Design That Feels Warm, Modern & Playful

Sometimes the best design decisions start with a little hesitation… and a lot of curiosity.
When we first talked about painting this room orange, I’ll be honest — it felt like a risk.
Orange isn’t the “safe” choice you see in most homes. Especially homes that are "flipped" and being sold to appeal to the masses.
But on the contrary, it’s bold. It’s warm. It makes a statement the second you walk in. And that’s exactly why we went for it.
I kept asking myself: What would happen if we just leaned all the way in? So we did.
The moment the paint dried, the whole room shifted. Suddenly the light felt warmer, the art popped, and the textures in the bedding and lighting had so much more life. Instead of feeling loud, the orange created this cozy, inviting energy that makes the room feel playful and full of personality.
It’s a good reminder that sometimes the spaces we love the most are the ones where we took a little design risk.
Not every room has to be neutral. Sometimes a bold color is exactly what a space needs to come alive.
Would you ever paint a room orange? 🍊
